I have been wanting to make this table since I spied one in the PB Kids catalog a few months back.
As
luck would have it, my friend Jenn was heading north from Raleigh to
come to the Brimfield Show, AND her husband just happens to be a
commercial electrician, AND she happened to have room in her truck, so... If that's not a sign that I was destined to make this, then I don't know what is!
Two simple electrical spools
Made in Mexico
A quick and dirty
coat of stain using the leftover stain from my new floors- jacobean and
white make a great neutral gray that hides both scratches and dust!
I was thinking the stain might be a waste since the result was so subtle so I did a side by side comparison.
I decided it wasn't.
Add some casters so you don't scratch the heck out of your floors.
Install some hemp rope with a few finish nails.
White cotton would have be cute too, but I was looking for a natural look.
The finished product!
Once the second one dries and I have a completed pair, my options for using these are going to be endless.
THANK YOU JENN and MIKE!
I LOVE my new tables. (yes, I'm shouting)
